I was approached by the client to create a wooden laser etch for their significant others birthday. I was told to keep the details of this project secret.

Firstly, I was sent this image to use for it etch.

With a little photoshop work and image manipulation this was the overall design that was chosen. Off to the Laser Etcher!

This was the Design straight out of the Laser Etcher. The protective cover is about to be taken off to see the design. Thank god for the cover because it did flare up a bit in the machine.

More extensive sanding and 4 coats of clear wooden varnish. the client other and i discussed hanging solutions and we both came to an old chainsaw chain (degreased of coarse).

The Client was amazed to see the outcome of it and so did their significant other. Would definitely do another one.
